Vegan Rice Pudding

This is a classic dessert that we love to serve. Vegan Rice Pudding is simple to make and a sweet way to end a great meal. We know everyone will enjoy it!

Serving 4-6

Ingredients

 

 ✓ 2 tablespoons butter

✓ 4 tablespoons short-grain basmati rice

✓ 4 cups of almond milk

✓ 4 tablespoons chopped pistachio

✓ ¼ cup of sugar

✓ 4 tablespoons grated coconut

 

Instructions

 

1. Soak the basmati rice in water for 2 hours. Then strain the rice and keep aside.

2. Melt butter in a saucepan. Add presoaked basmati rice. Cook for 1 minute.

3. Now add almond milk, pistachio, sugar, and grated coconut. Cook on low flame for 20 to 25 minutes. Stir throughout the cooking process. Otherwise, the rice pudding will burn at the bottom.

4. Garnish the vegan rice pudding with chopped pistachio. Serve cold.
